Jaren delivering the completed school kits.
The receipt for his donation. ALL DONE!
Grandma Goodner helping to sew the school kit bags.
Shelby helped too! A side note from Mama is that she also learned to appreciate a Bernina! That's my girl!
All the supplies gathered for the school kits. Our ward was wonderful with donations and thanks to all that helped with this!
Ian and Dane loading the bags. Dane had just got his mission call to Melbourne, Australia the week of the project and we got to hear all about what he already had learned. #1 that they say Melbun, not how it looks.
All the guys that came to help, It went really fast and we had pizza after.Jaren recently finished his Eagle Project. It took a while to get organized with the house and everything with the move, but he is so glad to have it done. He loves to read so he chose to do school kits for third world nations with the LDS Humanitarian Center. It was cool to see his 57 kits added to the hundreds they had there waiting to be shipped. They are very particular about what goes in them and how the bags are made, for the very purpose of being used for a full year. It was a great project and we are proud of his efforts to help others. Thanks again to all who helped!
